Vacheron Constantin Master Art Series 86090 Modification (micro-painted enamel)
The highly difficult silk enamel painting technology is used to vividly reproduce the magnificent colors. Enamelists will apply a layer of magnetic powder to the back of the dial or the underside of the case to absorb iron filings and other impurities produced during the firing process. Then, white enamel glaze is applied layer by layer as the background color. On the basis of this layer of enamel, various metal oxide pigments are added to cleverly blend into the face plate less than 40mm, thereby forming colorful colors. The entire production process is extremely complex and requires 30 baking processes up to 840 ° C to finally form the required fine color.
